PIRAEUS (Greece) - Four teams remain in the battle to be crowned FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 champions, as the Quarter-Finals were completed on Wednesday.
France and Italy were the first two teams to advance to the Semi-Finals on Tuesday, before Belgium and Spain completed the last four lineup.
As well as moving one step closer to the title, the four teams also confirmed their places at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournaments.
Friday's opening encounter will see France competing in their ninth consecutive Semi-Final as they go up against four-time champions Spain, while the 2023 winners Belgium take their 11-game competition win streak into a meeting with Italy, who advanced to this stage for the first time in 30 years.
The confirmed dates, and tip-off times, for the Semi-Finals are as follows:
Friday, June 27 France vs Spain - 16:30 CET Italy vs Belgium - 19:30 CET
Before the Semi-Finals take place on Friday, the Classification Games 5-8 will commence with Lithuania taking on Czechia and Germany facing Türkiye - with one more spot to the World Cup Qualifying Tournaments to be decided.
The 40th edition of Women's EuroBasket will conclude with four more games on Sunday, at the iconic Peace and Friendship Stadium.
