ALEXANDRIA (Egypt) -Although Angola never trailed, they found themselves under pressure later in the fourth quarter when Egypt reduced their lead to just two points.

However, the reigning AfroBasket MVP, Dundao, sank two three-pointers in the final 1:33 minutes to the relief of the Angolans. He led all players in scoring with 29 points.

Egypt appeared more composed and competitive than in their previous game against Mali, but playing most of the match without their key offensive player, Ehab Amin, proved costly.

He was ejected after receiving a second technical foul with 2:23 minutes left in the second quarter, at which point Angola were leading 39–31.

All of them are important players for us, but Ehab is one of our key players. Not having him for most of the game made it more difficult for us,' admitted Egypt Head Coach Agustin Julbe.

Despite Egypt trying all sorts of strategies to prevent Angola from improving to 2–0 and clinching their first win, the Angolans weren't prepared to lose.
