Dominant Majstorovic named FIBA 3x3 World Tour Chengdu Masters MVP

    CHENGDU (China) - Dejan Majstorovic was named MVP of the Chengdu Masters after leading Novi Sad (SRB) to the title.

    CHENDGU (China) – Dejan Majstorovic continued his red-hot form after being named MVP of the Chengdu Masters on June 2-3, 2019. 

    'The Maestro' finished seconds in the scoring charts in Chengdu with 36 points in 5 games, including a game-high eight points in the final to lead Novi Sad (SRB) to their first World Tour Masters title of the season.

    The Serbian sharpshooter had previously won MVPs at the Penang and Novi Sad Challengers this season.

    Dimeo Van der Horst topped the scoring charts with 37 points to lead Amsterdam (NED) to the semi-finals.

    Third was Nauris Miezis with 31 points as he guided Riga Ghetto (LAT) to the final, including a clutch Tissot Buzzer Beater in the quarter-finals against Edmonton (CAN).
