SANTIAGO (LiDoBa) - Dominican Republic outfit Metros have appointed Jose Dilone as their new head coach.

Dilone was named Coach of the Year last year after his Reales team were crowned LiDoBa champions, but he opted to leave the club as they could not meet his wage demands.

Metros failed to make the play-offs last year, so that will be the target for Dilone when the new season begins on July 7.

The Santiago-based outfit have been drawn in Group A and will face Reales, Los Indios from San Francisco de Macoris and Puerto Plata-based side Marineros.

Meanwhile, Group B contains Panteras from Santo Domingo, San Cristobal side Constituyentes, Los Cocolos from San Pedro de Macoris and La Romana-based outfit Caneros.
