Antonia Delaere splashed 7 threes against China

The Belgian winger lights it up from long-range to cut down China.

WUHAN (China) - So often the unsung hero, Antonia Delaere stepped into the limelight to remind everyone why she's so important to the high-performing Cats by sinking a record-equalling number of three-point shots.

Belgium strolled past China 80-65 on Day 2 of the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournament, producing some fabulous team basketball with their transition and ball movement.

Much of that led to Delaere putting on her perimeter clinic as she made 7 of 10 triple attempts on her way to an outstanding 27 points.

She matched the production of Japan's Saki Hayashi four years ago, who became the first baller at the Quaifying Tournaments to make seven scores from behind the arc.
