HERAKLION (2015 FIBA U19 World Championship) - Croatia lost another member of their starting line-up as center Ante Zizic has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship with a groin injury.
The Croatian coaching staff confirmed to FIBA.com that Zizic has left Heraklion, flying to Athens to have his groin injury examined by doctors.
The coaches said Zizic, who had been averaging 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds through the group stage, will not play for the rest of the tournament.
Croatia are already playing without all-around star forward Dragan Bender, who left the team over a contractual dispute, while star guard Lovro Mazalin missed the tournament altogether with a finger injury.
