Croatia - Drazen Petrovic memorial as new exhibit
We will soon set up two new exhibitions at the Memorial Centre “Drazen In Philately”, which was supported by the city of Zagreb and the Croatian Ministry of Culture. The second exhibition will consist of FIBA photographs, Biserka Petrovic, mother of tragically deceased Drazen Petrovic, whom we met at Sasa Sekoranja`s studio.

Mother of basketball Mozart showed us a watch with Drazen`s initials, which will also become a part of the regular Drazen Petrovic Memorial Centre exhibition. Mrs. Petrovic was proud to explain that the watch was designed by Benlevi Levin, who changed his surname to Petrovic after Drazen`s death. Levin Petrovic owns three jeweller`s shops in Israel, where the watch was made, and Drazen accompanied him at almost all his matches.
Memory etched with films
- I`m glad that the memory of Drazen is cherished. Many tourists visit the memorial centre and I am especially pleased that younger visitors are coming. During a visit, we determine which one of the films on Drazen we are going to screen, so that we do not tire younger visitors with long recordings. This way, we try to give people a piece of memory of Drazen – Biserka Petrovic told us, adding that apart from home guests, visitors from abroad come as well, mostly those from Macedonia and Slovenia.
