POREC (2010 FIBA World Championship) - Krunoslav Simon has returned to Zagreb for tests after suffering an injury at Croatia's Porec training camp for the FIBA World Championship.

Simon's absence from camp is only expected to be temporary, but it left Josip Vrankovic with just 12 players over the weekend as Ante Tomic is working individually as he comes back from an injury of his own.

Vrankovic is optimistic Simon will soon return.

"He was hit in the quadriceps, and he was tormented by pain while we were in Porec," he said.

"It was best to do some checks in Zagreb, and then we will know when he can return."
