    GRAN CANARIA (ACB) - Mario Kasun, the national team center of Croatia, is in a hospital in Gran Canaria after suffering from cardiac arrhythmia on Saturday.

    The 2.13m Kasun, who is 27 years old, played 22 minutes against Gran Canaria and had been their best player, scoring 15 points and grabbing seven rebounds, but he complained of feeling unwell and was taken to the hospital.

    He is currently in an intensive care unit.

    A statement issued by Barcelona said: "During the game, Mario Kasun has suffered a cardiac arrhythmia.

    "He has been taken to hospital to do the necessary medical tests and he will be under observation for 24 hours in the ICU."

    Kasun is expected to be one of Croatia's main players at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in July.
