SUCRE (FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship 2018) - The final game of the South American U17 Women’s Championship will be between Argentina and Colombia for the gold. Chile and Venezuela will play for Bronze.
Argentina earned the right to play for the gold-medal after a 95-61 win over Venezuela in the Semi-Finals of the South American U17 Women’s Championship. In the other Semi-Final of the tournament, Colombia dominated Chile for a 75-36 win.
Argentina and Colombia secured tickets to the FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship 2018. The bronze-medal match between Venezuela and Chile will determine the recipient of the last ticket available to next year’s continental U18 championship.
Peru and Ecuador earned the right to play in the fifth-place game after winning their matches in the Reclassification Round. Meanwhile, Bolivia and Uruguay will fight for seventh-place.
