BEIJING (CBA) - Guangdong are showing no signs of slowing down in China with Zhejiang Guangsha the latest to be thrashed by last season's champions.
The CBA's lone unbeaten team won 124-89 to improve to 6-0.
Rising national team star Yi Jianlian had a terrific game with 20 points and 23 rebounds for Guangdong while Guangsha got 36 from Gabe Muoneke, one of Nigeria's international heroes at the FIBA World Championship.
Muoneke was outstanding earlier this summer as the Africans reached the last 16 before suffering a narrow defeat to Germany. He also pulled down 13 rebounds in defeat to Guangdong.
Jiangsu and Liaoning are just one game behind after winning for the fifth time in six contests.
Once again it was the scoring machine Tang Zhengdong who made the biggest difference for Jiangsu in their 121-93 mauling of Beijing. He had 39 points, 15 rebounds and five assists.
Beijing led 25-23 after the first quarter but they were outscored 33-18 to trail 56-43 at half-time and they never recovered. Jiao Jian scored 21 points in a losing effort.

Xu Guozhong's 27 points fired Xinjiang past Jilin, 106-97.
God Shammgod had 37 points but it wasn't enough for Shanxi Zhongyu who crashed to a 122-95 defeat to Shandong.
