BEIJING (CBA) - Xinjiang Flying Tigers moved to an unassailable position on the CBA Regular Season leader board with a 108-102 win against DongGuan Leopards on Wednesday.

The win puts Xinjiang five wins clear of their closest contenders – incidentally DongGuan – with only four rounds left to play in the Regular season.

No 3 Guangdong move to within a win of DongGuan beating Bob Donewald’s Shanghai Sharks 130-104.

With Guangdong and DongGuan being the only two teams, apart from Xinjiang, already assured of a place in the play-offs, action over the next four rounds is bound to be interesting.

While for five teams play-off dreams are already dead and buried, there are as many as nine teams in the reckoning to fill the five remaining slots in the play-offs
