    CHN – Xinjiang knocked from the ranks of unbeaten by Shandong

    BEIJING (CBA) - There are no more undefeated sides in China's CBA following Shandong's 120-109 triumph over Xinjiang.

    Former NBA coach Bob Weiss was all smiles as his Shandong team got 40 points and 10 rebounds from Rodney White.

    Quincy Douby led Xinjiang with 37 points.

    Dongguan closed the gap at the top to just two games with a 117-113 triumph over Shanghai.

    Dongguan are coached by Australia's former national team boss Brian Goorjian, who served as a China assistant coach at the 2009 FIBA Asia Championship.

    Shanghai are led by China's current national team boss, Bob Donewald.

    Zhang Kai had 13 points and 15 rebounds for Dongguan.

    Guandong are two further games adrift after trouncing Liaoning, 130-104.

    Jiangsu are alone in fourth place at 12-7 after edging Zhejiang Guangsha Lions, 98-94.

    Former France international Jerome Moiso had 23 points and 11 boards.

    Other CBA results: Shanxi Zhongyu 104 Foshan 108, Qingdao DS 97 Beijing 102, Bayi 86 Zhejiang Cyclones 70 and Jilin 93 Fujian 98.
