BEIJING (CBA) - China international Li Nan helped Bayi set up a repeat of the 2004 CBA final as they crushed Beijing to sweep their semi-final 3-0.
Li was in inspirational form with 27 points in the 102-81 win, including four of six beyond the arc and an outstanding seven of seven free throws, as well as nine rebounds. He was backed up by China team-mate Zhang Jinsong who netted 23 points.
North Division winners Beijing lacked the stomach to mount a fightback from their 2-0 series deficit, with national team center Mengke Bateer unusually subdued.
Zhang Yunsong was their top scorer with 22 points. The seven-game final against defending champions Guangdong will give Bayi a chance to avenge their 3-1 defeat of two years ago, when the final was played over five games.
Bayi finished this year's South Division a distant second behind Guangdong, who also swept their semi-final against Jiangsu. The opening game of the finals will be played on Tuesday with Guangdong hosts.
