BEIJING (CBA) - Jason Dixon ran riot as defending champions Guangdong booked their place in the CBA final with a 3-0 series sweep of Jiangsu.
Dixon poured in 29 points and 11 rebounds in Wednesday's 93-88 victory which wrapped up the best-of-five series.
The South Division winners were a point behind at half-time but crushed their hosts 27-16 in the third quarter and held on in the fourth.
Yi Li top-scored with 17 points for Jiangsu, who took Guangdong all the way to a decisive fifth game in last year's final, but were second best throughout the latest series.
South Division runners-up Bayi look like being given the chance to avenge their 2004 final defeat to Guangdong after taking a 2-0 lead in their series with Beijing.
China internationals Mo Ke and Li Nan were the heroes in Bayi's 82-78 home win, Mo with 21 points and a remarkable 15 rebounds and Li bagging 18 points, five rebounds, six assists and four steals.
Like Game 1, Beijing's star man Mengke Bateer was the top scorer with 22 points and 14 rebounds but once again he was powerless to prevent the North Division winners slipping to defeat.
Bayi need to win only one of the remaining three games to progress and could have it wrapped up as soon as Thursday night.
