Guangdong rallied after half-time, winning the third quarter 24-20, but could not overhaul their visitors.

Wang Zhizhi led the way for the victors with 21 points, including five of six from the arc, and seven rebounds, while Zhang Jinsong added 18 points.

For the Tigers, who had won the previous three championships, Yi Jianlian poured in 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

The 4-1 series scoreline was an exact reversal of last year's final between the two sides, when Guangdong came out on top, and constitutes Bayi's first title for
    four years.
