Newly-installed head coach Xu Limin will need his big-hitter to find some form and they will go to work at a preparation camp with 12 other candidates.

Sun was the leading scorer and rebounder for her country at last year's Olympic Games after registering 12.4 points and five rebounds per game. Chen impressed with a team-high 4.2 assists per game and also harvested a double-digit points return.

While Shao Ting didn't have her greatest shooting tournament, she is widely heralded as one of the most prominent and high quality players in Asia.

One of the most interesting inclusions in the Group is teenager Li Yueru, who has posted some jaw-dropping numbers at youth level and is being categorized as one of the most promising players China has produced in recent memory.
