China - National Women's Basketball League opens in Jiangsu

Jiangsu Nangang defeats Henan Yuguang Jinqian 88-81 in the first game of the National Women's Basketball League in Donghai, Jiangsu Province.

The Xtep 2010-2011 National Women's Basketball League, sponsored by the China Basketball Association, kicked off at the Donghai County Gymnasium that day. The tournament will end on Feb 19. During this period, Jiangsu Nangang will play against eight teams represent Henan, Liaoning, the People's Liberation Army, Shanghai, Fujian and other provinces.
