    Canada - Final roster for FIBA U21 World Championship Women in Moscow

    The final roster is set for Canada's first-ever entry in the FIBA under-21 women's world basketball championship. Canada's team includes two players who were part of the National Elite Development Academy program in Hamilton this past year, forward Krysten Boogaard and guard Kalisha Keane.

    The final roster is set for Canada's first-ever entry in the FIBA under-21 women's world basketball championship.

    Canada's team includes two players who were part of the National Elite Development Academy program in Hamilton this past year, forward Krysten Boogaard and guard Kalisha Keane.

    The other 10 players on the roster have been playing at the college level.

    "We have a great chance to compete with the top teams around the world and we are looking forward to representing Canada," head coach Linda Marquis said in a release Thursday.

    Forwards Miranda Ayim, Natalie Doma and Leanne Evans and guards Devan Lisson, Courtnay Pilypaitis, Megan Pinske, Kadie Riverin, Kendel Ross, Alisha Tatham and Tara Watts fill out the roster.

    The tournament takes place from June 28 to July 8 in Moscow.
