Canada - European basketball talks about a Steve Nash deal
Teams all over the NBA believe that the Phoenix Suns may decide to trade Steve Nash, with one source saying that the Suns are “on the fence” about wanting to move their start point guard, as reported by FanHouse, and European basketball fans sources are waiting to see what is going to happen regarding this. However, the deadline regarding the trade will not be taking place until February 24, according to European basketball sources, and the Suns are still holding on to hopes that they can gel with new additions Mickael Pietrus, Vince Carter, and Marcin Gortat, the trio that has been acquired in a trade last month with Orlando.

When he has been asked about a potential trade, Nash told the website, “I’m playing; I’m here. I’m going to fight until they tell me they don’t want me anymore.
We made a lot of changes this year, and hopefully we can get it right and get in the playoffs and make a run. But if we don’t, we’ll try to put ourselves in a good position for next year.”
Many fans following their basketball odds truly hope so.
European basketball sources know that any team that has playoff-caliber and doesn’t have a star point guard could end up being in the market for Nash.
The Knicks, despite Raymond Felton’s very solid play, are one of those teams, according to the report, although Carmelo Anthony from the Denver Nuggets is still higher on priority list of New York.
According to European basketball sources, Nash would most likely be welcoming a trade to New York, especially now that his Phoenix teammate for six seasons, Amare Stoudemire, is playing for the Knicks.
Nash’s contract will be coming to an end in 2012, which means that even if the Knicks did receive his services, they could still be a player in the sweepstakes for Deron Williams and Chris Paul, both of whom are lined up to become free agents during that summer, and many people that follow the basketball odds are on the lookout.
