THE FAVORITES
It hasn’t been an easy journey for Reigning champs Canada since their stop win in the opener in Springfield. They most recently lost in the Semi-Final in Quebec, but they’ll be hoping to rectify their fortunes in Edmonton.
It will be the Olympic core taking to court this time, the Plouffe sisters returning to bolster the side. The World number one and two have been unstoppable, especially with sharpshooting Paige Crozon and defensive general Kacie Bosch in the squad. They’ll hope to bring momentum back on their side with the Paris Olympics looming around the corner.
A side that caught fire recently in Quebec was the American team Dallas 3XBA. Led by the General Camille Zimmerman and Blake Dietrick, they found success through a gritty style and quick buckets.
Though they fell short in the final to team USA, they’ve shown they are more than capable of picking up the victory. Caroline Littlefield and Kaela Davis will also take to the court as they’ll be out to unsettle their competition in Edmonton.
THE FIELD
Barcelona Panthers have been absolutely lethal, finding their rhythm through sharpshooting Ari Geli.

Her consistent scoring from deep opens the floors and gives her side a consistent go-to option. Sarah Sagerer and Sigrid Koizar have been immense in the paint and in the mid-range. Isabel Mbomio will also offer inside presence and bolster the side in defensive situations.
Don’t count out teams like Chile and Puerto Rico either, both have shown incredible scoring ability, being able to catch fire from deep while also locking down defensively.
HOW TO WATCH
