Cable TV awarded FIBA 3x3 broadcasting rights in Hong Kong

    FIBA and Cable TV signed a two-year agreement for the broadcasting rights of the main FIBA 3x3 official competitions in Hong Kong.

    HONG KONG - FIBA and Cable TV signed a two-year agreement for the broadcasting rights of the main FIBA 3x3 official competitions in Hong Kong.

    The portfolio includes the FIBA 3x3 World Tour, which will feature an all-time record of 14 events in 2022, as well as the FIBA 3x3 World Cup and Continental Cups.

    Additionally, Cable TV will partner with FIBA to provide the production facilities for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Hong Kong Masters.

    Cable TV has acquired the FIBA 3x3 broadcasting rights across all forms of television and digital platforms, including internet, OTT and mobile. This agreement is the first-ever TV broadcast deal for 3x3 in Hong Kong and a major contribution to the promotion and the growth of 3x3 in Hong Kong and South East Asia. Through this partnership, Cable TV will broadcast and promote 3x3 basketball through event coverage, highlights, news coverage and original programming.
