RIO DE JANEIRO (FIBA U19 World Championship) - Brazil U19 coach Jose Alves Neto has named a 25-man squad to meet for three training camps ahead of the FIBA U19 World Championship.
Neto revealed he had selected the squad based upon previous performances at international level and impressive club displays.
"(They are) players who have already defended the national colours in international competitions, as well as others who stood out in state tournaments." said Neto.
"Training will be divided into three stages and only the three who play in Spain (Paulo Sergio Prestes, Renan Leichtweis and Vitor Luis Tatsch) will not be part of this first one."
The U19 squad will start their first training camp on Monday in Rio Claro's Felipe Karan gymnasium.
The FIBA U19 World Championship will be held in Vancouver, Canada, from July 12-22.
