BRA - 1994 Brazilian women's world championship team honored during the semifinals:

CUIABÁ (FIBA Americas Championship for Women) – The Brazilian Basketball Confederation honored the Brazilian women's national team that won the 1994 World Championship played in Australia.

The players who were at the event were Adriana Santos, Alessandra, Cintia Tuiu, Dalila, Helen, Hortência, Janeth, Roseli and Ruth. The coaches who participated are Raimundo Nonato, Waldir Pagan, Miguel Ângelo da Luz and Sérgio Maroneze.

Helen Luz and Alessandra still play for the national team, having great performances so far in this competition.

CBB President, Carlos Nunes, gave the players a portrait of the team, the only one that Brazil has won in women's World championships.
