Instituto celebrated in Chile and qualified to playoffs
The argentinian team beat Valdivia 82-77 and got into the quarterfinals. On friday they defined first place against Flamengo.
Instituto showed its claws in Chile, won a complicated game and got into the quarterfinals of the Basketball Champions League Americas. The argentinian team beat Valdivia 82-77 and met its first objective, the qualifying. On Friday will define the first place of Group C, against Flamengo in Rio De Janeiro.
Instituto knew that they had an advantage because in the first game against Valdivia in Argentina they won with 25 points of difference. So they played with calm and just broke the game in the end.

Again the top scorer was Dwayne Davis, who appeareday in key moments with 31 points and 6-10 in three pointers. The other valuable player was Raasean Davis, with 15 points and 5 rebounds, plus the contribution of Martin Cuello, with a double key to break the score.

Valvidia enjoyed the game, showed a great version to his people, but failed at the end and said goodbye to the tournament with four defeats. Fisher Davis was the top scorer of his team with 21 points, which together with the 17 of Larry O'Bannon were the ones that gave hope to the Chilean team.
Instituto played better in the end and fulfilled ist objective: to reach the next phase. On Friday they will define the first place with Flamengo and to remain as a leader they must beat the Brazilian team by more than 8 points, since in a Argentina the victory was 83-75 for Flamengo. If Instituto loses or earns for less that difference, will cross in quarterfinals with Real Esteli, the winner of Group D.
