BCL Asia – East 2026: Media Accreditation underway for first four Windows

    Accreditation process will be reopened for the further windows later.

    BEIRUT (Lebanon) - We are pleased to inform you that the Media Accreditation process for the first four Windows of BCL Asia – East 2026 is now open via the FIBA Accreditation Portal.

    Media Accreditation is now open for the Windows to be played in Indonesia (March 27-29, 2026), Hong Kong China (April 6-9, 2026), Chinese Taipei (April 14-26, 2026) and Malaysia (April 15-17, 2026). Please note that the accreditation process will be reopened for the further windows later.

    We request all applying Media Representatives to familiarise with and strictly follow the Media Rules. The deadline for accreditation applications is Tuesday, March 25 2026.

    HOW TO APPLY?

    FIBA has recently launched the new FIBA Accreditation Portal to improve security, performance, and overall user experience. Media representatives with an existing profile in the former FIBA Media Portal are required to migrate their account in order to continue applying for accreditation.

    Eligible users should have received an email invitation with a migration link.

    If you already have activated your account, you will be able to apply directly for the event by following the steps below.

    Log-in to the FIBA Accreditation Portal or, if you are a new user, create a new profile

    Click on the [Apply now] button of the event you wish to attend.

    Complete all required fields and submit your application (individual for each game).

    After submission, you will receive an accreditation submission confirmation email.

    FIBA Regional Office-Asia is solely responsible for the delivery of accreditation decisions. The application information submitted is subject to a review process, the availability of space and a security check. FIBA Regional Office-Asia reserves the right to reverse its decision on an approval, or withdraw an accreditation at any time if it deems that the concerned party was in breach of accreditation rules and guidelines.

    Important information

    Only media professionals who apply online before the deadline will be considered.

    Creating a profile or logging in is not an application.
