The continent’s premier club competition returns in December.

    MIAMI (United States) – The FIBA Americas Regional Office in collaboration with BCLA Board and FIBA HQ, has confirmed the 12 teams that will compete in Season 7 of the Basketball Champions League Americas, set to tip off in December. The teams representing six countries from the region and their top leagues are: Boca Juniors (ARG) Instituto (ARG) Obras Basket (ARG) SESI Franca (BRA) Flamengo (BRA) Minas Tênis Clube (BRA) UdeC (CHI) Paisas (COL) Caimanes del Llano (COL) Astros de Jalisco (MEX) Nacional (URU) Aguada (URU) Flamengo is the reigning champion and holds two titles, like Argentine club Quimsa. The Brazilians will look to become the first team to lift the trophy in back-to-back seasons. The champion of this 2025-26 edition will represent the Americas at the FIBA Intercontinental Cup 2026. All BCL Americas games will be broadcast by DIRECTV in South America and via the BCL Americas YouTube channel in other regions.

    The official draw will take place this Friday in Miami, USA, starting at 4:00 p.m. (local time) and will broadcast live on the BCL Americas YouTube channel.
