MIAMI (United States) – SESI Franca (BRA) center Cristiano Felicio posted the highest efficiency rating in Stage 2 of the Group Phase of the Basketball Champions League Americas 2025-26, which took place from January 14 to 19. The veteran big man spent six seasons in the NBA and has represented Brazil in multiple international events, including two World Cups (2019 and 2023) and two Olympic Games (2016 and 2024). He was a key factor in Franca’s dominant performances in both of its home games in Group D.
Felicio averaged an efficiency rating of 24.5 in the second stage, fueled by averages of 16.5 points on an outstanding 70 percent shooting from the field (14-of-20), along with 12.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals. Agustín Barreiro of Boca Juniors (ARG) was another standout, posting an efficiency rating of 24.0 while helping his team finish with a 1-1 record in Group C. The forward averaged 17.0 points, shooting a strong 76 percent on two-point field goals (13-of-17). He also contributed 11.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
Aguada (URU) center Luis Santos also recorded an efficiency rating of 24.0 in his debut in the competition. The Dominican big man dominated the paint with 19.5 points (76 percent from the field), 7.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.0 blocks. His performance helped the Uruguayan side secure a crucial win in Group C to stay alive heading into the third and final stage.
Georginho De Paula, another SESI Franca player, made the list of top performers for the second consecutive stage and remains the only player to repeat so far this season. The versatile Brazilian contributed 15.0 points this time around. He knocked down 70 percent of his three-point attempts (7-of-10), to go along with 6.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists for an efficiency rating of 23.0.
Francisco Cáffaro (Boca Juniors) rounded out the list with an efficiency rating of 21.0. The 25-year-old center averaged a double-double during the stage, posting 14.0 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, in addition to 3.5 assists.
