    Luke Maye's 31 points not enough for BAXI Manresa, Tofas Bursa now 2-0

    Tofas Bursa have started the Round of 16 Group J 2-0 (both home games) after they defeated BAXI Manresa 74-68, giving them as many losses as they had in regular season group play (one).

    Turning point: Manresa were down by as many as 10 points (44-34) in the third quarter, but they fought back and ended up outscoring Tofas 17-8 in the quarter, as Luke Maye led the charge and knocked down three triples.

    The fourth quarter was back-and-forth, until Tomislav Zubcic (16 points, 2 rebounds) clinched the game for Tofas with a three-pointer to give them a 71-66 lead with a little over a minute left.

    Game hero: In his second game with Tofas, Tyler Ennis had an efficient all-around game off the bench with 15 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals on 6-of-10 shooting from the field and 2-of-3 from three-point.

    Ennis heated up late in the game, scoring 12 of his points in the fourth quarter alone.

    Stats don't lie: Tofas held a 42-28 advantage in points in the paint and another key stat was scoring 28 points from 20 Manresa turnovers.

    Tofas had 8 blocks against Manresa tonight, which is tied for the most in a BCL game this season.

    Bottom line: Luke Maye went off for Manresa, scoring 31 points and grabbing 7 rebounds in 28 minutes.

    He is the first Manresa player to score more than 30 points in a BCL game.

    The 24-year-old scored 11 points in the first quarter and shot 10-of-16 from the field and 6-of-10 from three-point, finishing with a game-high efficiency rating of 30.

    Tofas are now 2-0 and the Turkish club will travel to face Nutribullet Treviso on February 8 at 20:30 CET.

    This is their third win in a row at home in the BCL, their longest streak in the competition.

    Manresa are now 0-1 and the Spanish club will host Darussafaka next on February 9 at 21:00 CET.
