MIES (Switzerland) - After a week long voting procedure, you picked the best dunk of the Basketball Champions League season. It was the monstrous throwdown done by Tyrus McGee during the Final 8 tournament in Nizhny Novgorod.

Hapoel Unet-Credit Holon played a different brand of basketball all year long, but a tough draw saw the Balkan League champions matched up with Hereda San Pablo Burgos in the Quarter-Finals. Holon did not back down, as evident by the massive dunk Tyrus McGee decided to give to the rest of the world to admire and appreciate.

Our experts picked out the best 16 dunks to start the Dunk of the Season bracket, and from that point on, it was up to you, the fans and followers, to bring one man to the top. McGee defeated Kyle Wiltjer in the Round of 16, Amath M'Baye in the Quarter-Finals and Onuralp Bitim in the Semi-Finals to set up a date with Rasheed Sulaimon in the Final.

The Final vote got as close as possible. Tyrus McGee got 50.2 percent of your votes, compared to 49.8 of Sulaimon across our voting polls on Twitter and Instagram.

McGee had a strong season in 2020-21, finishing in double figures in his last nine games, averaging 12.5 points on 39 percent shooting from beyond the arc for Hapoel Unet-Credit Holon, and his thunderous dunks made him a popular figure across Europe over the past five years.
