Transfer Report - Gameday 8
Finding it hard to keep up with the ever-changing rosters of the Basketball Champions League? Well, worry you not, the Transfer Report is a one-stop-shop for all of the BCL's confirmed signings
MIES (Switzerland) - Do you find yourself scrambling through countless news publishers and twitter feeds to keep up with the ever-changing rosters of the Basketball Champions League? Well, scramble no further, the Transfer Report is a one-stop-shop for all of the BCL's confirmed signings, and even the odd rumor or soon-to-be-announced arrival.
To play on Gameday 8, players needed to be registered with the hard-working people in the FIBA House of Basketball by close of play on Monday (yesterday).
Confirmed
The following are registered and confirmed incomings and outgoings ahead of Gameday 8.
IN
Angel Delgado , C, 25 years, 6'10" (2.08m) 🛬 Hapoel Unet Holon
The club said: "Hapoel Unet Holon is pleased to announce the signing of Angel Delgado. Delgado is a native of the Dominican Republic and a graduate of the prestigious Seton Hall College. In his first college season, he was selected as the Rookie of The Year in the Big East Conference and in 2017 he averaged 15.2 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. In his last season of college basketball Delgado earned the prestigious Kareem Abdul Jabbar Award for the best collegiate center.
After going undrafted, Delgado signed a two-way with Agua Caliente Clippers in the NBA G League where he averaged 18.5 points, 14.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists, which led to his selection as Rookie of The Year in the G League. During his rookie year, Delgado broke the single-game rebounding record with 31 rebounds in one game. Delegado has also played for the Dominican Republic National Team in the Central America Games, where he averaged 12.5 points and 7.5 rebounds."
Shlomo Isaacs (club owner): "We are delighted to secure Angel Delgado's signature. He is a huge talent at the #5 position that will give us an under the basket presence on offense and defense."
Delegado may be the only official transfer but he could turn out to be a huge one. Holon missed out on the Play-Offs by a slim margin last season after holding one of the top two spots in the group for the majority of the Regular Season. They are one of our best 3-point shooting teams this year and, as usual, are a scorching offensive team. A finisher like Delgado will only make them more potent on the offensive end, and his rebounding on the defensive end is also likely to make the big man's presence felt immediately.
Delgado signed a big-money contract in China but didn't really get the opportunity to demonstrate what he's about. Playing for Holon with a chip on his shoulder for the remainder of this season should bode well for the Lakers of Israel.

Georgios Bogris, C, 30 years, 6'11" (2.11m) 🛬 Iberostar Tenerife

As you can see from the video above, this is far from a rumor. Bogris is back. He was a BCL winner the last time he was in Tenerife and a finer passer on the short-roll you will not find. Anyway enough of that, we will talk about this guy plenty next week when his transfer is registered with the league in time for Gameday 9.
Ousmane Drame, C, 27 years, 6'9" (2.06m) 🛬 EB Pau-Lacq-Orthez

Another player that BCL fans will know from his time in Latvia with Ventspils. Drame hasn't been registered in time to help his new teammates out against AEK but should be ready to go for next week for the trip to Vechta and the Rasta Dome.
