With the Lithuanian club in search of a third win and shooting the ball extremely well, Karsten Tadda forced a Juventus turnover and a few seconds later Paulding crossed mid-court and scored with a long jumper at the half-time buzzer to leave EWE Baskets trailing, 51-44.
With that basket giving him 14 points, Paulding, a player at EWE Baskets for the past decade, poured in another 20 after the break. He also finished with 4 steals while Allen, who has already claimed an MVP of the Week honor this season, had 28 points and 7 rebounds.
Flowers (No. 24) was sensational in defeat for Juventus Utena
As good as both Paulding and Allen were, Juventus had their own star on the night in Jonte Flowers. He had 11 points in the first quarter and scored 28 for the game while also corralling 10 rebounds.
EWE Baskets improved to 4-2 with the triumph while Juventus dropped to 2-4.
