    BAT 0360/13 (Vasiljevic v/ Kolossos Rhodes KAE)

    Summary of the case: The Bosnian Player Sasa Vailjevic filed a claim against the Greek Club Kolossos Rhodes KAE for outstanding salaries, bonuses and interest. According to Article 16.2 of the BAT Rules, the Arbitrator issued an award without reasons.

    Following FIBA’s intervention, the Greek Club Kolossos Rhodes KAE honoured the BAT award and paid the adjudicated amounts to the claimant. As a result, FIBA lifted the ban on registration of new players which was imposed on the Club Kolossos Rhodes KAE on 10 October 2013.

    In view of the fact that the Greek Club Kolossos Rhodes KAE continues to be in breach of its obligation to honour the BAT award, FIBA imposed a ban on registration of new players on Club Kolossos Rhodes KAE.
