    Summary of the case:
The Lithuanian Player Mindaugas Lukauskis and the Agencies XL Basketball and Side by Side filed a claim against the Italian Club Basket Barcellona S.r.l. for outstanding salary, agency fees and interest. The Player requested payment of the salary for the upcoming 2012-13 season, submitting that the Club was in default for making salary payments for the 2011-12 season. In its Answer and counterclaim, the Club argued that the Player was not entitled to any compensation for the 2012-13 season because the Player agreed to the delay in payments, the Contract was mutually dissolved, and the termination notice was void under Italian law. The Arbitrator partially upheld the claim and dismissed the counterclaim in its entirety.
