    Following FIBA’s intervention, the Men’s Basketball Club MBC Dynamo Moscow reached a settlement agreement with the claimant. As a result, FIBA lifted the ban on registration of new players which was imposed on the Men’s Basketball Club MBC Dynamo Moscow on 24 May 2013.

    In view of the fact that the Russian club Men’s Basketball Club MBC Dynamo Moscow continues to be in breach of its obligation to honour the BAT award, FIBA imposed a ban on registration of new players on MBC Dynamo Moscow .

    Summary of the case:
    The American agency Entersport filed a claim against the Russian club Men’s Basketball Club Dynamo Moscow for outstanding agent fees related to the engagement of a coach and a player. The agency requested full payment of its fees for the 2008-2009 season, submitting that the club had made partial payments only. Despite several invitations by the BAT, the Respondent did not file an answer to the request for arbitration within the set time limits. The Arbitrator decided to uphold the claim in its entirety.
