Summary of the case:
The Italian coach Sandro Orlando and the Italian agency DoubleB Management s.a.s filed a claim against the Turkish club Besiktas Jimnastik Kulubu Dernegi for outstanding salaries and agent fees. The coach requested full payment of his salary for the 2011-2012 season, submitting that the club had terminated the coaching agreement without just cause and had failed to make any salary payments thereafter. In its answer, the club argued that the coach had demanded the termination but declined to sign a settlement agreement, and that he had breached his obligations by failing to terminate the contract registered with the Turkish basketball federation. The Arbitrator decided to partially uphold the claim.
