    In view of the fact that the club Petrochimi Bandar Imam Harbour Basketball Club continues to be in breach of its obligation to honour the BAT award, FIBA imposed a ban on registration of new players on Petrochimi Bandar Imam Harbour Basketball Club.

    Summary of the case:
    The American player Julius Hodge filed a claim against the Iranian club Petrochimi Bandar Imam Harbour for outstanding salaries. The player requested full payment of his salary for the 2010-2011 season, submitting that by failing to pay the outstanding amounts timely the club had breached a termination agreement entered into by the parties. In its answer, the club justified the delay of payment with international restrictions on money transfers. The Arbitrator decided to partially uphold the claim.
