In view of the fact that the club KK Cibona Zagreb continues to be in breach of its obligation to honour the BAT award, FIBA imposed a ban on registration of new players on KK Cibona Zagreb.

The Croatian player Goran Vrbanc filed a claim against the Croatian club KK Cibona Zagreb for outstanding salaries.
