In view of the fact that the club KK Union Olimpija Ljubljana continues to be in breach of its obligation to honour the BAT award, FIBA imposed a ban on registration of new players on KK Union Olimpija Ljubljana.

Summary of the case:
The Bosnian-Herzegovinian player Edin Bavcic, the company MEGA Basketball LLC and the player agency BeoBasket Ltd filed a claim against the Slovenian club KK Union Olimpija Ljubljana for outstanding salaries, consideration for the grant of promotion rights and agent fees. In the course of the proceedings, the parties reached a settlement. The Arbitrator issued a consent award.
