Summary of the case:
The Croatian player Miro Bilan filed a claim against the Croatian club KK Zadar for outstanding and future salaries and late payment penalties. The player requested full payment of his salary for the 2010-2011, 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 seasons, submitting that the club had made salary payments late and only partially which entitled him to terminate the contract. In its Answer and counterclaim, the club argued that the player's attempt to terminate the contract had failed inter alia because his agent had agreed to a delay of the salary payments. The Arbitrator decided to partially uphold the claim and to dismiss the counterclaim in its entirety.
