In view of the fact that the club BC Antalya Buyuksehir Belediye continues to be in breach of its obligation to honour the BAT award, FIBA imposed a ban on registration of new players on BC Antalya Buyuksehir Belediye.

Summary of the case:
The American player Davon Wayne Chism and the agent Jared Karnes filed a claim against the Turkish club Antalya Buyuksehir Belediye for outstanding salaries and agent fees. The player requested full payment of his salary for the 2010-2011 season, submitting that the club had breached the employment contract by releasing him without just cause. Despite several invitations by the BAT, the Respondent did not file an answer to the request for arbitration within the set time limits. The Arbitrator decided to uphold the claim in its entirety.
