In accordance with the Award, the club Baloncesto Fuenlabrada paid the adjudicated amount to the claimant.

    Summary of the case:
The American player Chris Thomas and the agencies U1st Sports Overseas and U1st Sports New York filed a claim against the Spanish club Baloncesto Fuanlabrada SAD for outstanding salaries, travel expenses, reimbursement for housing costs and agent fees. The player requested full payment of his salary for the 2009-2010 season, submitting that the club had unilaterally terminated the employment contract without just cause. In its Answer, the club argued – inter alia – that the termination was justified due to the serious misconduct of the player. The Arbitrator decided to partially uphold the claim.
