In view of the fact that the club Achilleas Kaimakliou continues to be in breach of its obligation to honour the BAT award, FIBA imposed a ban on registration of new players on Achilleas Kaimakliou.

    Summary of the case:
The American player Christopher Nathaniel Bracey filed a claim against the Cypriot club Achilleas Kaimakliou for outstanding salaries and a reimbursement of medical costs following an injury. The player requested full payment of his salary for the 2009-2010 season, submitting that the club had made partial payments only. In its Answer, the Respondent argued that it had entered into a termination agreement with the player (via his agent), had made the payments agreed upon thereunder and had also covered all medical expenses. The Arbitrator decided to uphold the claim in its entirety.
