In view of the fact that the club BC Valladolid continues to be in breach of its obligation to honour the BAT award, FIBA imposed a ban on registration of new players on BC Valladolid.

    Summary of the case:
The player agencies U1st Sports Overseas and U1st Sports Atlanta filed a claim against the Spanish club BC Valladolid for outstanding agent fees and late payment penalties. The agencies requested full payment of their agent fees for the signing of the player Demonico Lemont Barnes, submitting that the club had failed to make any payments. Despite several invitations by the FAT, the Respondent did not file an answer to the request for arbitration within the set time limits. The Arbitrator decided to uphold the claim in its entirety.
