    Follow up: 14 December 2011
In view of the fact that the player Lee A. Bensoon continues to be in breach of its obligation to honour the BAT award, FIBA imposed a ban on international transfer on the player Lee A. Benson.

    Summary of the case:
The American player Lee Benson and the players’ agent José Paris filed a claim against the Chinese club Shanxi Zhongyu PBC for outstanding salaries and agent fees. The player requested full payment of his salaries and bonuses for the 2009/2010 season, alleging that the club had unjustly terminated the contract and had failed to fully pay his salary thereafter. In its answer, the club denied the above claims, submitting inter alia that it had entered into a termination agreement with the player, which settled all pending issues, and that it had paid agent fees to a Chinese agent. The Arbitrator decided to partially uphold the claim.
