In view of the fact that the club ASD Napoli Basket Vomero continues to be in breach of its obligation to honour the BAT award, FIBA imposed a ban on registration of new players on ASD Napoli Basket Vomero.

Summary of the case:
The Czech player Martina Rejchova filed a claim against the Italian club ASD Napoli Basket Vomero for compensation for breach of contract, outstanding salaries and agent fees. The player requested full payment of her salaries for the 2009/2010 season, alleging that the club had unilaterally breached the contract. In its answer, the club denied the above claim and submitted that the player had transferred to and played for another club during the same season. The Arbitrator decided to partially uphold the claim.
