    In view of the fact that the club Menorca Basquet continues to be in breach of its obligation to honour the BAT award, FIBA imposed a ban on registration of new players on Menorca Basquet.

    Summary of the case:
    The Georgian player Vladimer Boisa filed a claim against the Spanish club Menorca Basquet for outstanding payments arising from a mutual termination agreement entered into by the parties. The club denied the above claim, stating inter alia that the termination agreement was invalid. The Arbitrator decided to uphold the claim in its entirety.
