AMSTERDAM (Netherlands) – Baskets Bonn captured their first-ever World Tour title at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Amsterdam 2026 after defeating Amsterdam Rabobank 21-19 in the Final on June 21.
Baskets Bonn claimed their maiden World Tour title in Amsterdam after coming all the way through the Qualifying Draw to reach the Final, completing a remarkable title run that began on June 19.
In the championship game, they faced local favorites Amsterdam Rabobank.
The Germans came back from a seven-point deficit to secure their first-ever World Tour crown. Amsterdam led 16-9 with 4:43 remaining, powered by Maarten Bouwknecht, who finished with 11 points. However, Fabian Giessmann sparked the comeback, scoring 13 points and leading Baskets Bonn to a dramatic 21-19 victory.
Giessmann, who was named FIBA 3x3 World Tour Amsterdam 2026 MVP, finished the event as the top scorer with 50 points in five games (two in the pool phase and three in the knockout rounds). He also led the competition in Player Value with 56.5.
In the individual contests, Eric Demers (Phoenix, USA) won the Shoot-Out Contest, while Mounir Konate took home the NXT LEVEL Dunk Contest.
Amsterdam once again showcased why it has become one of the premier destinations on the FIBA 3x3 calendar, with an outstanding venue and packed bleachers throughout the three-day event.
The FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2026 continues to be extremely competitive, with six different winners across the first six stops of the season.
