DEBRECEN (Hungary) - Baskets Bonn (GER) were unstoppable in pool play, going unbeaten on Day 1 of FIBA 3x3 World Tour Debrecen 2026 on August 29.

BASKETS BONN
There seems to be no stopping the rising stars from Germany as they showed out on Day 1. They went unbeaten in Qualifying Draw, defeating Kaunas and Barcelona to book their spot into the pool phase. Fabian Giessmann was once again the leading force in their efforts.
They started pool action with a statement, a 20-11 victory over a contending Liman. They took down equally stiff competition in their final game of the day against Ulaanbaatar, 21 - 15 victors. Fabian Giessmann handled business yet again, particularly in their game against the Mongolian team where he scored a whopping 14 points to lead his side to the win.
Ub, Amsterdam and Miami also finished their days with a perfect pool record, topping their groups ahead of the decisive Day 2 slate of games.

WORTHY DE JONG (Amsterdam)
Hype Worthy is back with a bang!
He made his return to World Tour action in Debrecen and instantly made his presence felt. In their opening game against Liberec, Amsterdam found themselves on the ropes. That was until Worthy de Jong took over, firing from deep with clutch shot after another. He went on to drill the game-winning dagger as well, putting up 11 points with 5 2-pointers to lead his side to victory.
He chipped in with another 6-point performance in their win over Raudondvaris as the Dutch closed the day with a perfect record. De Jong is feeling himself as they prepare for the win on Day 2.
