MIES (Switzerland) - It will be an exciting campaign for Slovenia at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023. After missing the 2019 edition of the competition, they will be aiming to come back and make a third trip to the Quarter-Finals - at the very least!
Headlining the list of potential players is global superstar Luka Doncic who continues to shine at any competition he takes the court. Of course, as we've seen in previous EuroBaskets and the Tokyo Olympics, Slovenia are far more than a one-man show with the likes of Mike Tobey, Vlatko Cancar, and Klemen Prepelic.
Slovenia will start the Group Phase in Okinawa with upstart Venezuela and World Cup debutants, Georgia and Cape Verde.
